  1. graphic

At this point in development we can't give that much information about the specs that will be needed to run the game. By the time the alpha rolls around, we should have a pretty good understanding. The Unity engine has a variety of graphics options though. This can allow even low-end PC's to run the game at a solid framerate. What are your specs?
  2. Gear, FDNY Ideas

You'll have different options when it comes to evacuating victims depending on the situation. You can tell them to go down the fire escape, order them to exit the building if there are no obstructions, escort them to a window so they can exit via a ground ladder or aerial ladder, and even carry them out of the structure yourself. It will be up to you to choose what is best for the situation at hand.
  3. Gear, FDNY Ideas

Meant on PC, not console. If everything goes well with the PC version and we think we have a possibility on consoles, we will announce it.
  4. Gear, FDNY Ideas

As of now it is mainly due to the pricing and budget we have. We want to start small on PC, and then if possible move onto bigger and better things.
  5. Gear, FDNY Ideas

I'll be talking your ideas over with the development team and see which ones are possible to implement!
  6. Gear, FDNY Ideas

Many great ideas, most of which we are already planning to implement into the game. We'll definitely be going over each and every suggestion posted above!
  7. Kansas City Firefighters LODD

We are very sorry to hear about the two firefighters that were killed in Kansas City last night after saving two lives. The EmergeNYC staff team offers their deepest condolences to the family and friends of firefighters Larry J. Leggio and John V. Mesh. May them rest in peace. Due to both of their bravery and heroic acts, they will be honored within the game.
  8. Fireground interactiveness

On the map a good amount of buildings will be enterable. Within these enterable buildings, you will have the option to force doors, knock out the windows for ventilation, ventilate the roof, etc. All vehicles windows will also have the option to be smashed out for ventilation. As for walls, I'd have to talk to our lead developer Adam. I'm sure it wound be tricky to script the ability to bust a hole through every single wall!
  9. Firefighter/officer downs

If an officer is down you will have the option to call for backup and EMS. If you are a firefighter you can transmit a mayday.
  10. Updates

Yes, there will be an update or two in the coming week.
  11. Firehouse

Last time I spoke to Raf he informed me that there were going to be 3 or 4 firehouses on the map.
  12. Development

We have a lead developer, Adam, that is working on the game day in and day out. On the side, we have four to five modelers that have assisted in the making of the vehicle models, player models, vehicle textures, and so on. It all depends on how much assistance Adam will need with the scripting. Q&A: http://forum.emergenycgame.com/topic/168-emergenyc-faqs/
  13. Tools

There will be tools in each compartment on the truck that you will be able to take. Saws, pike poles, halligan bars, axes, etc. Figuring out how to deal with the scripting of extricating patients from vehicles is something I am not familiar with though and will have to be answered by Adam.
  14. Driving

Yes. It won't be anything like the GTA 4 or 5 police AI, haha. Drivers will react to sirens and lights by attempting to pull to the side if possible.
  15. Weather

There will be dynamic time and weather in the game. As for the player setting the weather and time, Adam will have to answer that.
