Responding Pre-Alpha 1.1 Release

 

Hello there fellow Responders!

 

So we released Pre-Alpha 1.0 a few days ago and we have since gotten quite a bit of valuable feedback for the Collectors and Ultimate Edition holders. Thank you! You help shape the game into what it is going to be.

 

We have listened to your feedback and we are now ready to announce the release of Responding Pre-Alpha 1.1 for the Collectors and Ultimate Edition holders. This update fixes quite a few bugs that were discovered with the help of the community as well as introducing a new feature to the Responding Pre-Alpha.

 

We will include the changelog in this topic.

 

The biggest change to the game is the addition of a Launcher and a Validation tool to help us validate your serial keys and push out updates without the need to download a new zip file. This version can be downloaded using the banner at the top of the page.

Added Features

 

Launcher & Validation

  • Added a launcher to update the game automatically. As well as a validation system to ensure the serial keys are valid.

Bugfixes

Movement

  • Fixed issue related to crouching and aiming causing unwanted camera movement.

  • CTRL was binded to the shoot key.

  • Fixed an issue related to jumping, causing player to jump unrealistically high.

  • Fixed bug where you can jump into unwanted locations.

  • Bug fixed that allowed players to jump inside vehicles.

  • Fixed an issue where the player could jump through many solid objects.

  • Bug related to crouching next to an object forcing the player into a never ending cover position was fixed.

AI

  • Fixed issue related to AI holding the weapon incorrectly.

Animations

  • Reload animation was fixed, since it reloaded the weapon wrong and magazine went everywhere.

GUI

  • Fixed an issue where the player when in the pause menu, moving the mouse caused the camera to move.

  • Bug fixed where ESC would close the game for some players.

  • Pause menu now goes to the main menu instead of exiting the game.

  • Fixed an issue where some players was unable to Copy and Paste into the game prompts.



 

Environment

  • Fixed an issue where fences had no collision.

  • Fixed various objects not having collision, including buildings, lamp posts, vehicles and gates.

Additional

  • Fixed the Chevrette Taro’s emergency lights not turning on.

  • Fixed a bug where the player could unholster their weapon inside the Chevrette Taro.
